- The FHAC is comprised of youth residing in the Forest Hills School District and Mt. Washington. In our early days we were known as Mt. Washington Pee Wee Football. The FHAC does not recruit participants, we are restricted by our by-laws and league rules as to who may participate with our organization. Our participation zone includes residents of the Forest Hills School District and Mt. Washington. We have in the past accepted residents outside of our participation zone, however historically this number does not exceed 5% of our total number of participants, and these participants are accepted on a case by case basis within League Rules. - The FHAC offers football and cheerleading for ages 5 thru 11, on six football teams and six cheerleading squads. For more information on age and weight limits, please visit the Age & Weight page. - The FHAC is a member of SOYFAI (Southern Ohio Youth Football Association, Inc.), the premier youth football and cheerleading league in the Cincinnati area. - History of producing championship football teams and cheerleading squads. In 2010 our organization placed five teams in the league playoffs, winning three super bowl championships, as well as a cheerleading championhip. Since 1993 the FHAC has had numerous cheerleading championships, (68) league playoff appearances, (26) Super Bowl Championships, (2) National Youth Football Championships. - Games are played on Saturday's at the same time. We host five home games per season, and play five away games. We often host postseason league playoffs or the league super bowl. We annually play preseason bowl games, usually one at home and one away. Season runs late July thru mid-November. In 2011 league play we will host Colerain, Sycamore, Reading, Deer Park, and Madeira. We will travel Harrison, Glen Este, Milford, Wyoming, and Delhi. - Cheerleaders participate in the league exhibition, as well as other local cheerleading competitions. - We provide state of the art equipment (Riddell Concussion Helmets). Personalized football jerseys and new cheerleading uniforms. - We practice and play our home games at the Riverside Park Turf Facility, providing us the safest playing surface in the United States per GMAX ratings, and lights to ensure practice times are consistent. Head coaches are allowed to practice their team no more than three time per week. Practices are held M, T, and TH from 6-8:00 p.m. (some teams only practice T and TH). - Our coaches must submit to a OHIO BCI Background Check, and all Head Coaching candidiates are interviewed. We are an organization, not just individual teams. Our coaching staffs work with each other to ease the transition to the change in competition levels as the teams mature. - Football participants ages 5 thru 8 receive guaranteed playing time. While we do offer guaranteed playing time, we teach our youth how to be competitive.
