GATORS 2009 HIGHLIGHTS

PLAYOFFS 11-8-09:

The #2 seed Gators hosted the #3 seed Little Cards at Harrison. IN a very tight game, Colerain got on the board early, however the Gators defense held them on the 2 point conversion, so the Little Cards led 6-0. In the 2nd half late, the Gators had a break away run off the right side for a long touchdown. On the ensuring 2 point cnversion it appeared the Gators had converted off the right side. however the lines man came in and called the runners knee down. The game ws now tied at 6-6, and would go into to overtime. In overtime the Little Cards got eh ball first and pushed it in for a touchdown, and subsequently converted the 2 point conversion. The Gators now had the shot to tie the game, but unfortunately they were unabel to answer and the Little Cards moved on to the Super Bowl.

This 2009 season was a great seaosn for these Gators. Coach Kenny took over as Head Coach this year, and several new kids signed up to be Gators this year. The future is bright for these Gators and all of us here at Forest Hills will be anxiously waiting to see these boys take the field in 2010.
