BOARD SCHEDULE (next meeting July 8th) The FH Board meets the 2nd Tuesday of every month, except for December. During the off season (Jan – July) Executive Board meetings are held at 7:00 pm and General Board meetings are held at 7:30pm. During the season (Aug – Nov), Executive Board meets at 8:30 pm and the General Board meets at 9:00pm. All meetings are held at the American Legion on Forest Road (across from Anderson High School). All Forest Hills members are invited to attend. All Board members, Head Coaches, and Parent Representatives are required to attend these meeting per FHYFC By Laws. If you are unable to attend, be sure you have subsititute for you absense. Please, refer to the FHFYC By Laws in regards to consequences for failure to attend FHFYC Board meetings. BOARD MINUTES For Board Minutes, please contact Secretary Sarah Clift by email at secretary@foresthillsyouth.com 2008 BOARD HIGHLIGHTS At the recent January Board Meeting the Forest Hills Board voted in favor of the 2008 budget. For budget details please contact, Robb Roewer at treasurer@foresthillsyouth.com. Registration will be held on January 20th from 1-3:00 p.m. at the American Legion Hall, makeup date is January 27th. The Board also voted in favor of helmet changes for 2008 season. All helmets will be painted orange to reflect our new color changes implemented in 2007, as well as reconditioned and recertified. If you pruchased a helmet yourself in the past, you must deliver this the Director of Equipment Matt Brandenburg direquipment@foresthillsyouth.com so that the helmet can go through the same process as our other helmets. Any helmet not certified for 2008, will not be allowed to be used. Forest Hills equipment supplier will be onsite with football accessories at equipment pickup and they will alos assist with fitting of equipment. Players will also be provided dressing areas this season at equipment pickup to try on items. A mandatory coaches meeting will be held in June. President Barry Martin, League Rep Mike Schloser, and Director of Coaches Kevin Haynes will be speaking at this meeting. The Board has begun preparations for the 2008 preseason bowl games. Please, check the website as details will soon follow. The next League (SOYFAI) Meeting will be held on January 27th, and several Forest Hills board members will be attending. League Rep Mike Schlosser leaguerep@foresthillsyouth.com will issue a newsletter to all Forest Hills parent's following this meeting.
